According to the Kaufman Index of Entrepreneurial Activity, the entrepreneurial rate in the US is well above the dot.com bubble of 15 years ago. Although the US has slipped a bit this year from the high point of 320 new entrepreneurs out of 100,000 adults in 2011, it still adds up to over 20 million non-employer businesses out there today...
